Building Bridges Between Leadership, Business, and Investment
Recently, I had the opportunity to engage with AK Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Abdullah Özdemir during an iftar program attended by leading businessmen in Istanbul.
The gathering provided a valuable platform for dialogue around the importance of stronger economic ties between Pakistan and Türkiye and the role that business leaders can play in transforming bilateral friendship into meaningful investment and commercial opportunities.
As President of the Pakistan–Türkiye Investment & Development Council (PTIDC) and a Peace Ambassador between Pakistan and Türkiye, I remain deeply committed to strengthening the economic relationship between these two brotherly nations.
The Role of Economic Diplomacy
In today’s global environment, investment decisions are increasingly influenced by geopolitics, stability, connectivity, and long-term strategic vision.
This makes meaningful engagement between political leadership and the private sector more important than ever.
Strong economic relationships are not built through government policy alone. They require entrepreneurs, investors, institutions, and business leaders to work together to identify opportunities and create sustainable partnerships.
For Pakistan and Türkiye, this represents a significant opportunity.
Both countries possess complementary strengths, growing markets, strategic geographic positions, and a strong foundation of public goodwill.

My focus through PTIDC remains centered on building practical bridges between the two economies.

Pakistan and Türkiye have shared a remarkable relationship for decades. The next stage of that relationship should be defined by greater trade, investment, entrepreneurship, and joint development.
As someone actively engaged across both markets in investment, development, and luxury real estate, I believe there is enormous potential for businesses from Pakistan and Türkiye to work together.
The objective is simple: create opportunities that benefit both nations while strengthening the economic foundations of their enduring friendship.
